API & integrations

An HTTP API in JSON that reads tracked time, screenshots and projects — and writes projects, people and offline time back.

Hours where your other systems can reach them

An HTTP API speaking JSON, for reading what was tracked and for changing what happens next. If your invoicing, payroll or project tool can make a request, the hours can arrive there without anyone retyping a timesheet.

What you can read

  • Activity — every tracked entry for a person over a date range, each with its start and end, its note, its project, and whether it was offline time.
  • Screenshots — the captures behind that time.
  • Your company — the people in it, the projects, and the tracking settings in force.

And what you can change

It is not a read-only feed. The same API creates and renames projects, assigns them to people, invites and removes team members, sets pay rates, adds offline time, and changes company tracking settings — so the tool your team already lives in can drive scrin.io instead of being kept in step by hand.

Getting a key

Your auth token and the full endpoint documentation are in your account settings, once you are signed in. There is nothing to request and nobody to email.

Common uses: pushing billable hours into invoicing at the end of a month, reconciling contractor hours against payroll, pulling per-project totals into a dashboard that already exists, and creating a project here the moment one is opened in your own system.
